Monologue AMARILIS, about the Haitian massacre of 1937, produced by Cafe New York at Judson Memorial Church, Greenwich Village, NYC, August 25, 2012. This monologue will be translated along with other related pieces and performed in the Borderlands of the Dominican Republic / Haiti in October, 2012 to commemorate the Haitian "Parsley Massacre" of 1937, in which nearly 20,000 Haitians were slaughtered upon the orders of Dictator Trujillo of the DR.

Haitian Monologues, New York City, Aug. 25th

A celebration of theatre commemorating the Haitian Massacre of 1937. $10 donation requested (all proceeds go to charity.) This October 5 & 6 Border of Lights is going to Haitian and Dominican border to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Haitian Massacre. These monologues will come with us.
