BROTHERLY LOVE to be read at DC Black Theatre Festival in June, 2015

My short drama BROTHERLY LOVE has been chosen for the DC Black Theatre Festival's New Words Reading Series in June 2015 in Washington, D.C. (This is a big festival, which they expect more than 25,000 people to attend.)

The play is based on the Harvard professor Gates and Sargeant Crowley racism debacle in Cambridge, Massachusetts in July 2009, where a Harvard professor was arrested for trying to enter his own home. BROTHERLY LOVE is about this African-American man and his wife, and a white brother and sister, coming to terms with their relationships and current events taking place in Massachusetts.
